2014 Golfing Expectations?

The golfing season is upon us, with the first major of the year just a couple of weeks away, the Masters. For me this is the start of the golfing year.

Watching this event each year, always makes me inspired, the immaculate golf course and fast running greens always producing an exciting event.

As the weather starts to turn for the better, more people get their clubs out of the closet and head for the course.

Yet expectations often remain quite high.

If there has been no practise and hard work, why should we play well?

The London Olympics, 2012 (yes, 2012),

produced some fantastic results for many British athletes, they didn’t expect to just turn up and produce excellence. It took 4 years of hard work, using expert coaches, video analysis and hours of training and practice to reach their goals.

As golfers, we often, (myself included) turn up and are disappointed at our results in a sport where even the best golfers fail far more than they win. England’s finest current golfers, Justin Rose & Luke Donald, between them have won 20 tournaments. That’s just a 2% win ratio.

If you are serious about improvement in your game then give yourself every possible chance of playing well this year.

Make sure you practice what will make the difference to your game. Video swing analysis with Brett Taylor Golf will give you instant feedback to ensure the right practise for your improvement is made.

Your lesson will be emailed highlighting drills and exercises to ensure you play better.
